Catering to a sophisticated male clientele that are transitioning to new life phases. Often meeting clients for the first time with nothing more than a few boxes, a laptop and a mattress, SimplyHome2 transforms bare spaces into warm, modern homes with amenities to make children and guests feel comfortable and content.
SimplyHome2 launched in 2015 when Patty combined her life experiences with her love of design. Myra joined in 2019 when she launched a second office in Chicago. Taking into account their own experiences, Patty and Myra understand the importance of helping their clients’ children avoid the suitcase-kid syndrome that often accompanies divorce. As compassionate business owners, they take pride in helping clients begin a new chapter by turning their house into a welcoming home for its dweller, family and future memories.
As a perfectionist with a keen attention to detail, Patty ensures each client is overwhelmingly satisfied by creating designs that are unique to their vision, situation and needs. In a typical day, you can find Patty meeting with a client about his impending move, shopping for basic essentials for another, and reviewing paint samples – all to help ease their transition.
After graduating from University of Southern California, Patty founded a dress division for J&R Wholesale in LA where she managed the entire division, from creative to sales. Within a year of launch, the line was carried in department store doors across America. Her hands-on experience with concept development, fabric and color schemes strengthened the aesthetic instincts she now brings to SimplyHome2.
When she isn’t co-running the business, she’s running several miles a day, or writing in between raising three children. A true foodie at heart – a perfect day would include hours of creating her own recipes and having a dance off with her daughter. Born and raised on the North Shore of Chicago, Patty now makes her home in Westchester, NY.
Myra has always had a strong eye for design and decor. After graduating from University of Southern California’s prestigious film school where she studied fine art and set design, Myra found success as an event planner. In her career, she applied her artistic background to create unique spaces for her clients while focusing on attention to detail. Coupled with her sophisticated aesthetic and ability to work well within any budget without compromising style, she brings a fresh perspective and sensibility to SimplyHome2.
Growing up, Myra experienced the effects of divorce during her childhood, and later in life navigated her own family through this transition. Therefore, she understands how challenging this change can be for all parties-not just the adults. Her priority with SimplyHome2 is ensuring her clients and their children feel at home in their new living spaces.
From being able to spot hidden treasures while shopping, to maximizing the functionality of each and every room, Myra takes pride in customizing clients’ living spaces and seeing the sense of stability it restores to them.
Myra currently resides in Chicago. In her spare time you will find her at a yoga class, cooking or spending time with her two children and dog Daisy Mae.
